Brush Pickup
Curbside brush pickup generally occurs twice per year, once in the spring and once in the fall. The city will only pick up reasonable amounts of brush that are neatly stacked at the curbside. A reasonable amount of brush is that which would fit in the bed of a standard pickup truck.
To avoid excessive wear and tear on Public Works equipment, brush cuttings must be no larger than four inches in diameter. Small piles of twigs left on the ground or in buckets will not be picked up due to time constraints.
Brush may be brought free of charge to the Rogers Road Transfer Station during normal operating hours. Note: Branch cuttings (4 Foot Length Maximum and 4 Inch Diameter Maximum), Lawn Debris, Leaves, Twigs and Scrap Metal are accepted at the Transfer Station.
